On Saturday we took a school field trip to Uludag. It a big mountain in the middle of Bursa. It is one of the main things Bursa is known for. It is a major tourist spot because of the skii resort. I had never gone skiing in america, so I was really excited to see how skiiing would go in another country. We took two buses and parked near the mosque, of course. I think the mosque looks really beautiful on the mountain top. No matter where you go, there is always a place to pray! Everything was really really pretty. I have never seen so much snow so white and pristine. We walked around, had snowball fights and ate lunch. My third graders hit me in the face! they are crazy. I eventually had to run away from them. We only had a short time to skii. This was just a day trip for us. So my friend Fatma and I rented our skiiis and jumped right in. It took awhile to figure out how to walk up the slopes but i figured it out. Then i made a V shape with my skiii's and slowly descended! I slid down the small hill and congratulated my self for accomplishing this experience. Woohooo!
